Restore Your Hair Game with Artistic Keratin Shampoo & Mask ✨

Powered by Science. Inspired by Beauty.

One of the most damaging things we do to our hair is bleaching or coloring it. While the salon results may look stunning, the aftermath often leaves our hair feeling like a dry, tangled mess—brittle, matte, and almost impossible to manage.

That’s where Artistic Keratin Shampoo and Mask step in.

Why is your hair struggling?

When you bleach or chemically treat your hair, you break down the hair’s structure—starting with the cuticle, the outermost layer made up of keratin “scales.” These scales protect the inner cortex, which houses pigment (melanin) and essential amino acid chains that give your hair strength and elasticity. Once damaged, gaps form in this structure—leading to breakage, dullness, and dryness.

What is Keratin & Why Does Your Hair Love It?

Keratin is a fibrous protein that naturally makes up 84% of your hair. It’s responsible for your hair’s resilience, flexibility, and shine. It also exists in your skin and nails. Chemical treatments, heat styling, and pollution break down keratin, leaving your hair vulnerable.

To fix this, hydrolyzed keratin—a processed form of keratin broken down into smaller, absorbable particles—is added to advanced haircare products

Introducing: Artistic Keratin Care

Our formula is inspired by protein post shampoo and protein boost mask, mimicking the structure of your natural hair protein using amino acids extracted from wheat, corn, and soy. These 18 amino acids act like tiny fillers—repairing gaps in your hair strand, restoring elasticity, and rebuilding hair strength from the inside out.

Benefits of Artistic Keratin Shampoo & Mask:

✅ Gently cleanses while infusing keratin into every strand

✅ Replenishes lost amino acids for stronger, more resilient hair

✅ Repairs split ends and brittle textures

✅ Deeply hydrates and restores shine

✅ Helps protect against future damage from styling or coloring

Your hair deserves to feel as good as it looks.
With Artistic, you can repair, protect, and glow—all at once.

How to Use Artistic Protein Boost Shampoo & Artistic Protein Boost Mask

    A simple, effective step-by-step routine

Gently brush your hair to remove knots and tangles.

Wet the hair thoroughly with lukewarm water (avoid very hot water to prevent cuticle damage).

Take a coin-sized amount for short hair; use more for long or thick hair.

Apply to the scalp and roots first. Massage gently with your fingertips for 30–60 seconds.

Lightly work the lather through the mid-lengths and ends.

Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear.

Gently squeeze out excess water and blot with a soft towel.

Hair should remain damp, not dripping wet.

Use a nickel to quarter-sized amount (more for long/thick hair).

Apply from mid-lengths to ends, avoiding the roots if your scalp is oily.

Comb through with a wide-tooth comb or fingers for even distribution.

Leave the mask on for the recommended time on the product label (usually 10–20 minutes).

For deeper conditioning, you may cover with a shower cap and use gentle warm heat or a warm towel for 5–10 minutes. (Do not use high heat.)

    Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Finish with a brief cool rinse to help seal the cuticle and add shine.

Pat dry with a towel—avoid rubbing.

If using heat styling, always apply a heat protectant.

Gentle blow-drying and light straightening can enhance smoothness after protein treatments.

    A simple, effective step-by-step routine

    Frequency & Professional Tips

    • Use the Artistic protein shampoo and mask 2–4 times per week, depending on hair type.
    • For very damaged or chemically treated hair, weekly use of the mask is beneficial.
    • If hair is fine or protein-sensitive, reduce frequency.

    Avoid protein overload:
If hair starts feeling stiff, dry, or straw-like, switch to a hydrating/moisturizing mask for the next few washes.

    General care:

    • Use sulfate-free shampoos to maintain results.
    • Perform a patch test if using the product for the first time.
    • If the mask causes discomfort or irritation, rinse immediately.

    Quick Troubleshooting

    Hair feels heavy/greasy:
You may have applied too much product or not rinsed enough — rinse again.

    Hair feels brittle:
Reduce protein treatments and focus on hydration for 2–4 weeks.

    Want smoother, longer-lasting results?
Avoid clarifying shampoos and maintain with lightweight serums and sulfate-free care.

    The History of Shampoo

From Ancient India to the Modern World

    Origins in Ancient India

The history of shampoo begins in ancient India, where hair care was deeply rooted in Ayurvedic tradition.

    Natural ingredients such as:

    • Soap berries (reetha)

    • Indian gooseberry (amla)
    • Shikakai
    • Hibiscus flowers

were commonly used to cleanse and nourish the hair. These botanical ingredients were gentle, effective, and aligned with holistic wellness practices.

    The “Champu” Ritual
The word “shampoo” is derived from the Hindi word “chāmpo” (चाँपो), which means to press, knead, or massage. The traditional “champu” ritual involved massaging the scalp with herbal concoctions—both a cleansing and therapeutic practice.

    Introduction to the West

    British Colonial Influence
During the British colonial period in India, British traders and travelers observed and experienced these traditional hair care methods. They brought the practice and the term “shampoo” back to Europe, introducing a new approach to personal hygiene and hair care.

    Sake Dean Mahomed: A Pioneer
In the early 19th century, Sake Dean Mahomed, an Indian traveler, surgeon, and entrepreneur, played a key role in popularizing shampooing in Britain.

In 1814, he opened the “Indian Medicated Vapour Bath” in Brighton.

He offered treatments that combined Indian head massages with steam baths, branding them as therapeutic and exotic.

His services gained popularity among British elites, making him one of the earliest Indian entrepreneurs in the West.

    The Evolution of Modern Shampoo

    Early Western Formulations
Initially, Western shampoos were made with soap-based ingredients, which were often harsh and drying compared to India’s natural herbal methods.

    Advancements in the 20th Century

The invention of liquid shampoo in the early 1900s marked a major shift.

The introduction of synthetic surfactants made shampoos gentler, more effective, and better suited for frequent use.

    Specialty and Professional Shampoos
Today’s market offers a wide variety of specialty shampoos tailored for:

    • Different hair types (oily, dry, curly, etc.)
    • Scalp conditions (dandruff, sensitivity)
    • Purposes (volumizing, color protection, anti-frizz)

    Conclusion

From its Ayurvedic origins in ancient India to becoming a global hair care essential, the journey of shampoo reflects a blend of tradition, innovation, and cultural exchange. What began as a herbal ritual has evolved into a billion-dollar industry—yet its roots remain deeply connected to Indian heritage and holistic wellness.

🌟 My Story – By Shrinee

    Hello, I’m Shrinee.

I’ve always believed that hairdressing is more than just a profession — for me, it’s a legacy and an art.

Hairdressing runs in my blood. My grandfather was a hairdresser. My father followed the same path. Just like an engineer’s child may become an engineer, or a doctor’s child becomes a doctor — I naturally continued my family’s tradition. But for me, it’s not just about continuing a business. It’s about passion.

Hairdressing is not just cutting hair — it’s creating art.
It’s not about doing a diploma or learning a technique; it’s about feeling the flow, understanding beauty, and bringing confidence to life. It’s artistic, it’s soulful, and it’s incredibly rewarding.

I feel truly blessed. Every person who sits in my chair has their own unique story. I love what I do because I get to meet so many interesting people — no two clients are ever the same.

    And the best moment?
That smile in the mirror after I’ve finished my work — that genuine happiness on their face — that’s what fills my heart with pride.

I am proud to be an artist, and this is my story.

    🎨 Hairdressing: My Artistic Expression

People often think hairdressing is just about scissors and styles, or getting a diploma. But to me, it’s more than that.

Hairdressing is a heart-led profession. It’s about understanding people, listening to their stories, and helping them feel more confident, radiant, and seen. Every person who sits in my chair is unique. They come with their own journey, energy, and vibe—and it’s a gift to meet them.

“I love artistic work because I get to meet a lot of interesting people.
Everyone that sits in the chair is different.
Everyone’s got a unique story to tell.”

🖤 Why Do Hairdressers Wear Black?

Many people often wonder—why do most hairdressers wear black trousers or black outfits?

Well, there’s a smart reason behind it.

Hairdressers wear black because when they’re standing behind a client in front of a mirror, the dark color helps them remain visually unobtrusive. This creates a neutral background that makes it easier to assess the client’s skin tone, hair color, and the overall shape of the haircut.

    It’s not just fashion—it’s a professional tool.
Wearing black helps hairdressers focus better on precision, balance, and contrast. The only time black may not help is when working with very dark hair, as the contrast is reduced. In those cases, the stylist adjusts by standing slightly to the side for better visibility in the mirror.
